Ministers of Holy Communion
Ministry Purpose: Ministers of Holy Communion (MHC) are registered parishioners who have received the sacrament of Confirmation. They assist in the distribution of the Eucharist. MHC receive spiritual, theological, and practical preparation to fulfill their roles with knowledge and reverence. Preparation requires a two part course of instruction. Attendance at both sessions is required. Each session of instruction lasts approximately two hours. Times for training will be posted in the bulletin. A one year commitment is suggested.
