The word "apologetics" come from the Greek meaning "to explain and defend." So, Catholic Apologetics is simply understanding, explaining and defending our Catholic faith. The purpose of this Bible study is to help you become an everyday apologist – an ordinary person who is able to share the beliefs of the Catholic Church in truth and love. This study will give you the tools to dialogue with others about the following topics:
June 6: Scripture and Tradition
June 13: The Kingdom, Authority, and the Papacy
June 20: The Eucharist
June 27: The Sacrament of Confession
July 11: Mary
July 18: Justification
July 25: Who is Jesus?
You may attend one or all of the classes, and attendance is free. You will need to bring a Bible and your own copy of downloadable materials.
Class time: Mondays, 7-8:30 p.m. in the Community Center
