“For 'by the sacrament of Confirmation, (the baptized) are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed.’”

Catholic adults who are active in practicing their faith but have never received the Sacrament of Confirmation are encouraged to do so. The formation process focuses on those who are ready, through maturity and a change of heart, to respond more deeply to God’s invitation of love and mercy.
The 9-week preparation classes begin in October, and the Sacrament of Confirmation will occur in early January at a place and time determined by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

For some adults, this might be at age 20, for others, it might be at age 60.
