Easter and Pentecost: At Home with Jesus

Easter
Easter is the celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and how it changed the world.  Of course, this statement is too simple for the magnitude of this event. Therefore, the video from Bishop Barron is included to help understand what Easter means. 

Pentecost
After Jesus had risen from the dead he appeared to Mary first, to assure her the will of God has been done. We touch briefly on this, however, the focus of this celebration is when Jesus himself appeared to the apostles and blessed them with the Holy Spirit.  Tongues of fire appear above their heads and they were able to speak and understand many languages in order to share the Good News with the world.
