Children's Liturgy of the Word

All children grades K-5 are invited to participate in Children's Liturgy of the Word at the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. masses. 

Allow your child to participate in the Liturgy of the Word. After the Prayers of the Faithful, the children return to their families to celebrate in the Liturgy of the Eucharist. No registration or fee is required.

We look forward to celebrating the Liturgy of the Word with you and your children. All volunteers age 18 and up are Safe Environment trained. Please prayerfully consider participating in this rewarding ministry for the enrichment of the youngest of the faithful.

The Children’s Liturgy of the Word ministry at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church needs adults to help as a leader or ministry aide. Teens 7th grade and older can also volunteer. Present the Scriptures at the child’s level and show how it pertains to their lives, along with a Gospel reflection to help them understand. Preparation materials will be provided.
