Handbells are a rich tradition in many churches that enhances the music with their mystical sounds. Bell ringing is intergenerational.The Christ the Redeemer Ringers play for various liturgies throughout the Church year. The Ringers also play at several nursing homes, Dicken's on the Strand and the Houston Heritage Candle Light Tour.
The CtR Ringers are comprised of musicians in grades 8 through adults. Rehearsals are 7:30-9 p.m. on Mondays. A basic music reading ability needed.
Christ the Redeemer Youth Ringers!
If you are in 5th - 8th grade and would like to learn to ring chimes and handbells...the Youth Ringers are for you. Starting September 9th, the group will meet on Monday nights from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Previous music experience is not required.
