Carrie Taylor

Carrie Taylor is a native Houstonian and grew up attending Christ the Redeemer.

She joined the CtR staff in November 2017 as Manager of Administrative Support after spending years in volunteer positions and participating in various ministries, including the Redeemer Choir, Religious Education, Vacation Bible School, St. Anne’s Society, and the Young Adult Group. Carrie transitioned to the role of Director of Communications in January 2020.

Carrie graduated from Texas Tech University with degrees in English and public relations and spent three years working as a journalist for publications like Community Impact Newspaper and the Houston Chronicle before deciding to stay home with her children.

Carrie and her husband James married in 2013 at Christ the Redeemer and have three children, Austin, Jackson, and Katherine.
