Michelle joined the CtR staff in Summer 2023 as Principal Organist and Assistant Director of Music Ministries. Michelle is a true daughter of the parish who has been involved in ministry since second grade as a member of the Choristers, and then Youth Singers as well as the CtR Ringers.
She began playing piano at age 5 and eventually, the organ once she reached eighth grade. Her love for the instruments led Michelle to earn her undergraduate degrees at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, where she studied organ with Dr. Ezequiel Menendez and double majored in both Music and Catholic Studies.
Michelle also earned her master's of Sacred Music from the University of Notre where she studied organ with Dr. Kola Owolabi.
Working at CtR, she said, she is looking forward to creating a close choral community that will move beyond parish choirs and into the pews.
