Paul-Mark Eroma joined the CtR staff in summer 2024 as the parish's visiting Echo Apprentice in partnership with Notre Dame University.
Individuals in the Echo program are enrolled at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN, to obtain their master's in Theology while simultaneously being assigned to work in parishes throughout the country. Paul-Mark is part of a cohort of four apprentices living together in northwest Houston and working at Prince of Peace, St. Ignatius, and St. Edward parishes in addition to CtR.
Paul-Mark is originally from Delta State, Nigeria, and moved to the United States for the first time in 2024 for school. He holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from t he University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Before joining the Echo program, he worked as a Program Assistant and the Resource Mobilization Manager at the Justice, Development and Peace Commission in the Catholic Archdiocese of Ibadan, Nigeria.
In ministry, he has served at the FAME Foundation, which is a volunteer-driven leadership education nonprofit working with teenagers at underserved schools. He has served as a catechist at his home parish and taught confirmation and OCIA classes.
