Zoom Tong

Dung "Zoom" Tong joined the CtR staff in 2022 as Director of IT for both the parish and CtR Catholic School. 

Zoom has held several IT management positions around Houston at big corporations like IBM, Deloitte & Touche,  NOV, and SNC-Lavalin. He earned a bachelor's in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Arkansas and also volunteers with Our Lady of LaVang Catholic Church and Boy Scouts of America.

 I want to deeply immerse myself in a place where people support each other, encourage each other, challenge each other, and serve one another.

Zoom and his wife, Katie, have two children - their daughter is attending the University of Houston and their son is serving in the U.S. Navy. He has a notable ancestor in his great-grandfather, Tong Viet Buong, who was a martyr of Vietnam and canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1988.
