Teams Of Our Lady

Teams of Our Lady is an international lay movement of more than 60,000 couples in the Catholic Church, blessed by the pope and designed to enrich marriage spirituality and make good marriages better. 

A team is comprised of five to seven couples whose marriage is recognized in the eyes of the Catholic Church. Couples from all stages of life (newly married, child rearing and empty nesters) can be part of Teams. The team meets once per month, rotating from one home to another, sharing a simple meal, prayer, endeavors, and a study topic.

The team becomes a close community that can inspire one another through their living examples of faith, and share with one another their struggles and successes on their way to holiness. Although Teams is not a parish-based, it is advisable for couples to live in the same geographic vicinity. Christ the Redeemer supports the Cypress Sector teams. Currently there are 14 active teams in Cypress and we are growing every year. Since this is a lay association, lay couples hold all positions of responsibility.

The Blessed Mother is the Patroness of the Movement. Her canticle of joy, the Magnificat, is prayed daily with fellow Team members worldwide. Teams of Our Lady is a movement of Christian Marriage Spirituality, which brings together couples united by the Sacrament of Matrimony, and who wish, together, to deepen the graces of their Sacrament.

It offers married couples a pathway toward love, happiness and holiness. This movement’s aim is to help couples live fully their Sacrament of Marriage. “Teams of Our Lady have as their essential aim, to help couples strive after holiness—no more, no less,” (Rev..
